Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Lovedales’ website, services and products.

By placing an order with Lovedales, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Quotations

All quotations are valid for 14 calendar days unless otherwise specified.

Pricing is subject to change where supplier pricing, material costs or project specifications change.

3. Orders

An order becomes confirmed once:

The quotation has been accepted.
Payment requirements have been met.
All necessary project information has been received.

Lovedales reserves the right to decline any project.

4. Payment Terms

Orders below R2,000 require full payment before production.

Projects above R2,000 require a minimum 50% deposit unless otherwise agreed.

The remaining balance must be paid before collection, delivery or website launch.

Proof of payment must be emailed to finance@lovedales.co.za.

Payments made over weekends and public holidays may experience delays before reflecting.

5. Artwork Approval

Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing all artwork before approval.

Artwork approval confirms acceptance of:

spelling
grammar
layout
colours
dimensions
contact information

Lovedales cannot be held responsible for errors approved by the client.

6. Client Supplied Artwork

Clients remain responsible for ensuring supplied artwork meets production requirements.

Lovedales performs only a basic technical inspection.

Lovedales accepts no responsibility for print defects resulting from incorrect client artwork.

7. Intellectual Property

All concepts, artwork, graphics and creative work remain the intellectual property of Lovedales until full payment has been received.

Upon full payment, ownership transfers only where specifically agreed.

Lovedales reserves the right to showcase completed work within its portfolio and marketing material unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Production Times

Estimated turnaround times are provided in good faith.

Production schedules may be affected by:

supplier delays
courier delays
equipment failure
power interruptions
public holidays
force majeure events

Lovedales will communicate delays where reasonably possible.

9. Cancellations

Orders cancelled after design work has commenced may incur charges proportional to work already completed.

Custom printed products cannot be refunded once production has begun.

10. Refunds

Due to the customised nature of our services, refunds are considered only where Lovedales has failed to deliver the agreed service.

Refunds are not provided for approved artwork, completed design work or correctly produced customised products.

11. Limitation of Liability

Lovedales shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our services.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the value paid for the affected service.

12. Website Services

Clients are responsible for supplying accurate content, images and information.

Lovedales is not responsible for downtime caused by third-party hosting providers or domain registrars.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
